Movement & Performance Coaching
At Psychiatry for Women, we don’t think about movement as punishment, performance, or a way to “fix” your body.
We think about it as medicine.
It’s about using movement as a tool to support:
-
mood
-
emotional regulation
-
energy
-
metabolic health
-
nervous system resilience
-
strength
-
long-term stability
For many patients, this becomes a missing piece, especially when motivation is low, energy is inconsistent, or your body no longer responds the way it used to.
Meet Stacy

Stacy brings over 20 years of experience in elite personal training, human performance, and physical rehabilitation.
Her work sits at the intersection of strength, recovery, and long-term health - supporting women in building bodies that feel more stable, capable, and responsive over time.
At Psychiatry for Women, Stacy’s role extends beyond traditional fitness. She works as part of a collaborative care team alongside medical providers, therapists, and dietitians, using movement as a tool to support energy, mood, metabolic health, and overall regulation.
Her approach is highly individualized. Programs are designed not just around goals, but around how a patient is actually functioning day to day, accounting for fluctuations in energy, stress, sleep, and hormonal shifts.
Stacy’s path into this work is also personal. She understands what it feels like to be disconnected from your body, to struggle with low self-worth, negative thought patterns, and the sense that things are just not working the way they should. That experience informs the way she coaches: with precision, consistency, and a deep respect for how hard it can be to start again.
Her focus is not quick fixes or extremes. It’s helping patients rebuild trust in their bodies, develop sustainable routines, and create meaningful change that holds over time.

MOVE WITH US
June 5th 2026
Not sure where to start?
Throughout the year, Stacy hosts occasional small-group movement sessions with members of the Psychiatry for Women team - Dr. Julie Brownley and Chaya Spigelman, PA - designed to make movement feel approachable, supportive, and actually enjoyable.
This is not about performance, competition, or “getting in shape.”
It’s a chance to experience movement differently:
strength without pressure, stress relief without perfection, and connection without judgment.
Whether you’re rebuilding after burnout, navigating hormonal shifts, trying to reconnect with your body, or simply curious about Stacy’s approach, this is a welcoming place to begin.
